Update (3/5): Now that the Part 3 special episode has aired, we now know how it’s been recieved by fans. Unless they decide to make a Final Season Part 3, Part 3 (Part 5), of course… I know many people who have read the manga are itching for people to reach the controversial ending, which now should be coming this fall. Attack on Titan, meanwhile, is just doing this eternal final season and it remains as popular as ever, even as the plot takes weirder and weirder turns.
